Base pay is influenced by several factors including a candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, and anticipated contributions to meet the needs of the business, along with internal pay equity and external market driven rates. Review and manage small group and SB ASO renewals as well as requests for rate relief and manage the adjustments to achieve overall financial targets. Manage adjustments to mid-market-sized prospect groups based on prior carrier experience, historical rate actions, and/or Capital’s previous experience. Manages the process of calculating customer settlements. Manages the completion of Schedule A and Schedule C reports to customers, as applicable. Evaluates process flows for efficiency and opportunity for automation as well as need to change due to corporate or UW business needs, market trends or regulatory requirements. Assures high performance levels are met through activities including recruitment and development of staff through education, mentoring and coaching. Serves on corporate committees and work groups, as necessary, to provide input for corporate initiatives.
