Position Description

Base pay is influenced by several factors including a candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, and anticipated contributions to meet the needs of the business, along with internal pay equity and external market driven rates. The salary range displayed has not been adjusted for geographical location. This range has been created in good faith based on information known to Dominion National at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. This Professional Service Coordinator is responsible for providing relationship management and act as administrative support as a representative on behalf of Provider Relations with providers, clients, vendors and other departments.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

  • Communicate, track and resolve provider issues in partnership with Provider Relations Field Reps.
  • Create and maintain provider and facility profile.
  • Achieve mastery knowledge of administrative duties and databases.
  • Process and distribute reports as specified by department manager.
  • Assist in creating and updating Provider Relations Departmental Policies and Procedures Manual.
  • Audit and prepare new provider credentialing application paperwork and contracts for QI Department processing.
  • Assist in production, tracking and distribution of departmental mailings, assembly of Provider manuals and other materials.
  • Distribute materials to newly credentialed providers.
  • Address non-compliant providers to obtain required re-credentialing paperwork.
  • Work with Provider Relations Director and Network Development Manager to further
  • develop and execute corporate Provider Relations and Network Development strategies.
  • Support overall network growth and retention.
  • Maintain knowledge of Departmental and Organizational Policies and Procedures.
  • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite, SalesForce.com a plus

Experience:

  • 2 years experience in dental industry and/or managed care

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Work Environment:

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptops, smart phones, photocopiers/scanners, shredders and filing cabinets.
