Position Description

Base pay is influenced by several factors including a candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, and anticipated contributions to meet the needs of the business, along with internal pay equity and external market driven rates. The salary range displayed has not been adjusted for geographical location. Looking for a skilled MOVEit / Managed File Transfer (MFT) Administrator to manage secure, automated file transfers across enterprise systems.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

  • Design, implement, and manage MFT and automation solutions ensuring accurate, secure, and efficient data exchanges with business partners.
  • Administer and maintain MOVEit Transfer & Automation platforms, including account creation, SFTP site management, and compliance enforcement.
  • Leverage native MOVEit Automation and/or RPA platforms to set up, monitor, and optimize file transfer workflows, reducing manual intervention and improving reliability.
  • Develop reusable automation templates for onboarding new partners, provisioning accounts, and configuring recurring tasks.
  • Monitor MFT systems and automated workflows, troubleshoot exceptions, and implement preventive measures to ensure system stability and performance.
  • Analyze functional and technical aspects of existing processes to identify automation opportunities that deliver cost savings and improved service quality.
  • Integrate MOVEit with enterprise applications and cloud services (ERP, Salesforce CRM, Azure Blob) using APIs, scripts, or RPA bots to streamline end‑to‑end EDI workflows.
  • Act as a focal point for automation‑enabled problem resolution and customer inquiries, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders and continuous improvement of workflows.
  • Manage and prioritize production support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with stakeholders; perform root cause analysis for integration issues.
  • Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to understand integration requirements and translate them into automated technical solutions.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts and issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Conform with PMO guidelines and procedures when developing IT solutions to defined business problems using structured methodologies. Conduct meetings with customers to ensure requirements are clear and solutions meet desired business needs.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Experience administering and maintaining MOVEit Transfer & Automation platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of secure file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTP, FTPS) and encryption standards (PGP, SSL/TLS).
  • Expertise in automation technologies such as RPA platforms (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, etc.), scripting (Python, PowerShell), or orchestration tools (Control‑M, Azure Logic Apps).
  • Ability to design logic‑based workflows with retries, notifications, and exception handling.
  • Familiarity with API integration and orchestration tools for cross‑platform automation.
  • Knowledge of Linux and AIX platforms, Windows Servers, SQL, and scripting languages.
  • Working knowledge of database management technologies and platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, MS SQL) and data warehouse concepts.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills to identify automation opportunities and resolve integration issues.
  • Strong communication skills; effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) with all levels of plan personnel and external contacts with professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize workload, process multitasks, monitor project activities, and manage time effectively in a dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Ability to handle rapidly changing priorities and meet stringent deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal and team skills with ability to work and interact with management‑level staff both within and outside of Capital Blue Cross.
  • Ability to provide off‑hours assistance to support customers and I/T initiatives.
  • Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a project team.

Experience:

  • 3-6 years administering MOVEit or other MFT platforms, including design, configuration, and monitoring of secure file transfer workflows.
  • Hands‑on experience with automation technologies such as RPA platforms (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism), scripting (Python, PowerShell), or orchestration tools to set up, monitor, and optimize MFT tasks.
  • Proven ability to identify and implement automation opportunities in file transfer and EDI processes, reducing manual intervention and improving reliability.
  • Prefer a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with the healthcare insurance industry and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC2) preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in cross‑functional collaboration, working with business analysts, developers, and project managers to translate integration requirements into automated technical solutions.
