Position Description

Base pay is influenced by several factors including a candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, and anticipated contributions to meet the needs of the business, along with internal pay equity and external market driven rates. The salary range displayed has not been adjusted for geographical location. We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Business Analyst with expertise in SmartCOMM for Document Generation. Candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing document generation processes, testing, and ensuring that SmartCOMM solutions effectively meet our business needs. This role will be the bridge between our business requirements and technical execution, ensuring that our automated document suites are scalable, compliant, and deeply integrated with Salesforce. Responsibilities and Qualifications

  • ​Platform Ownership: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the SmartCommunications (SmartCOMM) ecosystem, including template design, batch vs. real-time (on-demand) generation, testing, and assisting with XML Data Models, and hierarchical data structures.
  • ​Salesforce Integration: Partner with the engineering team to manage and maintain the connection between Salesforce and SmartCOMM. This includes configuring Data Models, XML/JSON mappings, and ensuring that Salesforce objects (Standard and Custom) flow correctly into document templates.
  • ​Template Development & Enhancement: Lead the design and maintenance of complex document templates. Use logic, variables, and shared content components to streamline document production.
  • ​Requirements Translation: Work directly with stakeholders and business units to translate document needs into technical specifications and logic flows.
  • ​Troubleshooting & Optimization: Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks in the document generation process, ensuring high performance and minimal downtime.
  • ​Release Management: Manage the promotion of templates and configurations across Dev, QA, and Production environments.

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of SmartCOMM and Salesforce best practices and business analyst standards.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce data schema and SmartCommunications for Salesforce integration.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Objects (Standard & Custom), Relationships (Lookup/Master-Detail), and how they are exposed via the SmartCommunications for Salesforce connector.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Flows or Apex triggers that initiate document generation requests.
  • Knowledge of SOAP/REST APIs and how SmartCOMM authenticates with external systems using OAuth or API Keys.
  • Knowledge in developing, implementing and maintaining system processes and procedures.
  • Omni-channel strategy knowledge of how to optimize a single template for multiple outputs.

Experience:

  • 3+ years as a Technical Business Analyst.
  • 2 years of hands-on experience with SmartCOMM.
  • 2 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce.com.
  • Experience with logic-based template design (Conditional formatting, loops, and data-driven visibility), XML, JSON, and XPath.
  • Experience with agile development methodology.
  • Experience collaborating with multiple business layers, both internal and external, to deliver products through all aspects of the SDLC.
  • Healthcare experience is preferred

Education and Certifications:

  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in one of the following: business administration, health planning and administration, information systems, or computer science.
