The Senior Business Systems Analyst is an information technology specialist providing analytical, technical and problem resolution support to Capital core systems. Business Systems Analyst conducts activities related to creation and updating of documentation and technical diagrams. Analyst acts as the liaison between business and technical teams to meet business needs as well as assessing viability for development. The analyst must use knowledge of existing business practices, systems, procedures, policies, current testing tools/practices and their inter-relationships to provide and ensure innovative approaches and solutions to business problems and requirements in the supported systems.
Skills:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze problems, identify root cause, determine impact, and develop business solutions for system changes.
Ability to act as a liaison and recommend solutions to a variety of departments, as well as other Plans and other external business partners.
Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally with technical and non-technical audiences. Including writing documentation such as user stories. Also includes persuasion and negotiation skills to resolve differences with skill and understanding.
Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, efficiently managing multiple responsibilities while maintaining a flexible and adaptable approach.
